Dr. Nameera Chagpar

Dr. Chagpar earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 2003, followed by a residency in cornea and contact lenses at the University of Houston. With a deep interest in laser vision correction, she served for over a decade as Director of Optometric Affairs at one of Toronto’s leading LASIK surgery clinics.

In 2015, Dr. Chagpar founded Eyes On Stonehaven to care for the community she calls home. She stays at the forefront of lens technology, offering her patients the most advanced options in both contact and eyeglass lenses to ensure clear, comfortable vision. Known for her thoughtful, educational approach to care, she takes the time to listen and answer every patient’s questions thoroughly.

Dr. Chagpar has been consistently recognized for excellence in eye care, earning the Three Best Rated Optometrist award and the Top Choice Award in Newmarket every year from 2018 through 2025.
